  • i lose myself at the water's edge (a freudian slip)

Mirabel, a fifteen-year old lonely foster kid, moves to a quaint town that holds a mystery in the ocean. What she discovers rewrites the future for her and the lives that dwell in the sea. Aka, an Encanto mermaid Au

  • tidal waves over us (so we folded our hands and prayed)

On instinct, Mirabel took a step backward. There was a sight shift beneath her feet, and before she could move or panic, she felt a forceful wind brush past her frame and a holler of her name before plunging into the frigid water. Or, Julieta finds Mirabel at the edge of the riverbank, resulting in a disastrous accident.

  • how rare and beautiful (it truly is that we exist)

"And why me?" Julieta begged, a hand on her aching heart. "Why give children to the ones that leave when there are people like me that will never leave her children, that will lavish them with love and protect them... why can't we have what we always wanted?" she was practically pleading for the answers. Or, Julieta and Agustín wait for a miracle, along with other turbulences.

  • when will i feel this (as vivid as it truly is)

However, she remained still and observed the mariposa with piqued interest. The color-it reminded Julieta of Mirabel; how the young girl would sew butterflies to her dress, or draw them constantly as a young child. And every time, it was the exact same color: Magenta. Or, a final continuation of the previous fic: then all at once the dark clouds depart (and the damage is done)

  • light

Her children were unique, from head-to-toe, from personality to gift. And she loved them so much, not because of their gifts or their looks, but because they were her's and Agustín's, made out of love and dedication. They were her pequeños amores, and she would remind them until the day she dies.

  • Shall we Dance?

Severitus. Severus teaches his son how to dance. It passes on as the years go by.
