What would happen when a routine exhibition match between the Tankery schools suddenly brought the girls back in time to stalingrad? due to some unknown circumstances it became just that as Miho and the other tanker girls got transported back to 1942 stalingrad. Their presence alone can alter the course of history as they try to find a way home while trying to survive too.

This is a prequel of sorts to my other strike witches story "Angels and Soldiers" which follows the 501st JFW in the battle of the bulge. This prequel is set several months before in November 1944 focusing solely on the air campaign over Europe with the 501st tasked with escorting and helping the Allied bombers during the campaign right before the events in the Ardennes.
