November of 2013. Journey of Love is about Lee and Amanda's daughter Mattie Stetson. It is her story of how she fell in love and married Nick Sheridan. If you read "A Time To Heal" their engagement and wedding are briefly mentioned in the epilogue. I don't think it's necessary to read "A Time to Heal" first. However, at some point, you may want to because of the events mentioned.

Takes place around 4 or 5 months before the wedding of Mattie and Nick. Amanda goes mother-of-the-bride dress shopping with Nick's mom and comes up against prejudices toward older women.
