Subaru, along with his Camp, his rival Camps, his parents, and Meili, have all suddenly teleported into a theater, controlled by "the Warden". Said Warden has told them that they'd be watching alternate realities, and the Cast would be responsible for what they'd be watching. Seeing that their first option is Emilia arriving in Japan, Subaru makes sure that his secrets remain his.

In a timeline where Fourier Lugnica became the sole surviving member of the Royal Family, and Subaru was summoned seven years earlier in Elior Forest, a new threat has risen. The new king, Fourier, now sends Reinhard, Wilhelm, Julius, Crusch, Felix, and Roswaal, along with other warriors and knights to investigate something going on in Flanders... only to find danger awaiting them.

After being rejected by all three Candidates in his mission to defeat Sloth, Subaru steals a ground dragon and runs away, giving up. However, when he makes it to Flugel's Tree, he comes across a box, containing a staff, traveling clothes, five artifacts of power, and a letter addressed to him by five mysterious friends from an era long forgotten. Will he be able to save everyone?

It was the end of watching Subaru die again and again. The Cast were happy that it was over, and they were ready to leave... but they weren't done yet. Now, they had to watch a story that took place in another reality. A reality of gods, monsters and heroes. Watch as the Cast sees a story of heart and determination, as they ponder the question: "What does it mean to be a Hero?"
