John Stewart receives his Lantern ring, travels to Oa, and enters Lantern Basic where he learns how to properly wield the ring. But unbeknownst to Stewart, a massive war happens in the far regions of space that has the potential to spread across the entire universe. With the help of the Lantern Corps, John Stewart must do everything within his power to stop the war.

Charles Gun-a vampire-joins forces with Illyria to fight evil in Los Angeles in the year 2022. After the war between Angel and Wolfram & Hart, Charles and Illyria return to the Hyperion Hotel to carry on the long, arduous mission of protecting the innocent.
