Inuyasha and Kagome grew up together and were quite close and had a lot in common with one another. They were both outcasts in their town, both left to be pirates, both quickly climbed the ladder and became captains to their respected ships and were both half-demons. Something horrible happens and they must team up together to fix what's been wronged.
