With a group of powerful friends, unexpected allies, and the planning to overcome age old enemies and meddling Headmasters as well, can these students traverse the dangerous halls of Hogwarts and the world outside of them? Post-OOTP. The episode in the DOM has left Harry a changed boy. He returns to the Dursley's to prepare for his inevitable confrontation with Voldemort, but his stay there is very short-lived. He finds himself in the care of people who he has no choice but to cooperate with and they give him a startling revelation: Harry must travel back to the 1970's to save the wizarding world.

What if there were two kinds of Dementors: ones born in nature and ones created? What if Harry helped one that was created remember that they were not always a Dementor? Originally inspired by a prompt on Reddit asking what would happen if Harry brought a Dementor to the Yule Ball. It became something more, a story that changes some things in the original story.

The continuation of The Family that Chooses You. Chapters will explore moments others wanted to see as well as additional ideas that I might have, with some alternate universe chapters as well. Each chapter will say when it takes place roughly and those inspired by readers will be dedicated to them.
