So, when they were assigned on the same Auror case, it wasn't as if he was happy about the fact, especially when Malfoy showed up tall and blonde and reasonable. He wasn't exactly sure how he was supposed to focus on his job at that point.

Harry Potter never meant to captured, and he certainly never meant to be rescued by Draconian Malfoy. It certainly didn't help the rumors, and it certainly didn't help the way she always seemed to look down on him.
