A new re-telling... Twins Robin and Reflet are found in a field, all memories lost except their knowledge of being siblings, their way around a battle, and random imagery. One remembers mornings, the other nights. What fate will these two tacticians bring to their new family, the Ylissean Shepherds.
Day of Confessions, February 14th. A Ylissean holiday started over three centuries ago; it started as a day where people went to church to confess their sins. However, within the past century, a new tradition started; a young woman confesses their love to a young man. Although it is not a purely religious holiday anymore, it still has a major hold on Ylisseans, young and old.
The Shepherds were a family. True, not many of them were blood-related, but they were tied by a bond; a bond to protect everything that they hold dear. Many were big sisters and brothers, others the young'uns. There was the crazy uncle, the gynophobic cousin, and the extremely youthful (and childish) grandma. So, who, in this insane mess of a family, is "Mother" and "Father?"
Following the death of Ylisse' Exalt, Lady Emmeryn, the Shepherds have a short respite before returning to battle to deal with Plegia's Mad-King. However, a surprising, unexpected event occurs that may destroy the inner workings of the Shepherds and any chance of victory against Gangrel.
