Temari recently got accepted into the prestigious Konoha University for grad school. After an intense fight with her father and his old fashioned views on what women should and shouldn't do, she's ready to leave Suna behind. However, Suna isn't ready to leave her behind–both her brothers have just been accepted as exchange students...to Konoha University. Full summary inside.

Due to the new treaty between the Land of Fire and Wind, Temari and her brothers are forcefully sent to Konoha High as exchange students. None of them want to be there, but they'll put up with it, if only for a year. Temari figured she would only have to suffer through a single year. Except how did things get so complicated? And why does she keep thinking about a certain lazy ass?

Takes place a day after the ending of The Proposal. You don't need to have read it to enjoy this but it definitely adds context. After telling Shikamaru the forbidden three words, Temari video calls her siblings and makes a confession about her feelings for him. The brothers react in their usual way and Temari debates hanging up on them.
