It was a year after the events of Kill la kill, and life has been swell for Ryūko, Satsuki and Mako who happened to have been transferred to the same high school. However a ghost from their past throws their lives into chaos while this spectre of said past begins their own new life leading to an unseen force who wish to enact the will of the late Ragyō Kiryūin begin their attack.
