Set a couple of years after the events of "X-Ternally Yours", the X-Men learn that the Assassins Guild have developed a virus to be used against mutants. Gambit is sent to try to steal the formula, but runs into a lot more trouble than he bargained for when he finds a web of betrayal and plots of revenge. Rated for violence, mild swearing, descriptions of injuries, and some peril.

While flying the Blackbird out of Genosha, Gambit, Rogue & Wolverine are shot down. They are forced to deal with suppressed powers, a serious injury, limited supplies, and a hostile environment, as they fight to survive long enough for rescue to come... if it ever does.
