Twilight and Sunset find themselves in an alternative Equestira which is ruled by a dangerous and unstable ruler who seeks to capture them. The two mares must fight for survival and save this Equestira to make sure their own is safe.

Sunset Shimmer has returned to Equestria seeking redemption and friendship. What she finds is much more than she could have imagined. She finds not only friendship but love and forgiveness. She will also learn lessons throughout her journey and find that the past doesn't remain dormant forever.
