Hermione takes a deep breath, closes her eyes, and then opens them to nod at Penelope. She nods back and together they look around the corner. The mirror cracks, and the last thing Hermione remembers is enormous, yellow eyes and the feeling of Penelope's hand falling from her grasp.

Ginny plots to help her ex boyfriend get with his crush, all the while desperately avoiding her own feelings for Harry. A festive charity drive gives her a chance to encourage Dean to act, but Ginny's friends aren't about to let her off the hook so easily.

Takes place after episodes 124-126 of the anime, where Naraku kills Kikyo and Kagome almost gets possessed by The Infant. On the way back to her home, Kagome and Inuyasha get caught in a Spring storm and take shelter in an abandoned hut. There Kagome discovers that Inuyasha has been hiding an injury from her.

Howl finds Sophie with the intent of making her keep her promise from the past to help him and Calcifer, but she's not what he thought she would be. He's used to stealing hearts, and keeping hers long enough to set him free seems easy enough. Problem is, she's not interested.
