"But Maaaay!" Peter protests. He sits up in bed, cheeks flushed and hair fluffy and tangled. "MJ and I have Valentine's plans! I was gonna take her swinging around the city!" / (Or, Peter gets sick on Valentine's Day, and May takes care of him.)

'If a body has to be found in this fire,' he thought to himself, 'it's going to be Peter Parker's. Not Spider-Man's.' Anything to keep his friends, and Tony and May safe. (Or, Peter saves several civilians from a burning building, but isn't so lucky himself. Tony and May worry, and chaos ensues.)

Just barely managing to stumble through, Peter had all but a second before his knees buckled and he fell face-first into the rug beneath him. Breathing heavily, he could feel someone turning him over, but his eyes had already started to shut and he couldn't figure out who it was. (Or, Peter tries to get help after being hurt on patrol.
