Professor Snape catches a boy with messy black hair kissing a girl with fiery red hair, and he is immediately reminded of a time when he walked in on a similar scene twenty years prior.

An imagining of how Remus might have felt when going back to his wife after he tried to join Harry and the gang to find Horcruxes. -This takes place during the seventh book. It should be mostly canon, but I don't have a copy of the book at the moment so I'm sure I got some details wrong. Please enjoy, and any suggestions for how my writing could improve are welcome!
