An Allie (who is a mix of Allie and Ellie), who was raised by an uncle that belonged to the Custōdiae Ursī (the guards of the bear) while her historian parents travel Europe, runs into another member of the order when her parents relocate for a few years to Maryland. It turns out she is who her uncle had thought and, well... things get strange.
