Following the suggestion of her father's new squeeze, Alexandra Quick decides to go somewhere exotic for her fifth year of magical schooling, and ends up in the South American magical nation of Gran Colombia. In the meantime, Maria Valiente has given herself a new mission, to figure out what's up with this new transfer student, and whether or not some sort of child-soldier-spy.
