This story began its life as a Death Battle- style fight between two of the greatest video game heroes of the past decade. With my passion for these heroes, something far greater took root. In the continuation, things on Outset take a turn for the worst and both heroes face decisions that will set them on a collision course; the future of the universe will be at stake!

The original plan was to put these two into a straightforward battle to see who would win, but with my passion for these heroes something far greater took root.
