Arthur is the Once and Future king, destined to fall in the battle of Camlann. That is his destiny… or, it should have been his destiny; except, Merlin had other ideas. Arthur lives and continues to reign over Camelot. But fate isn't happy and a prophecy is born. A prophecy that says a young boy will finish Morgana's work. There's a small problem with that, the boy adores the king.

When Kovu is thrust into a position he never intended to be in, he does his best to treat this new job in the most professional way possible. But when tragedy strikes and Kovu must make a long journey with some unusual company. He begans to realize that this new job of his may just be the best one he's ever had.
