The benefit show goes well - until George collapses on stage; now, Josie and her friends are concerned about George!

The sudden physical episode of George prompts Josie and her friends to want to do more - and, at the same time, Josie and Alexandra have to choose a substitute drummer for the benefit show.

An older man walks in to the studio where Josie and her friends are rehearsing for a benefit show, offering to volunteer to work for the group; what ensues is the start of a friendship that endears the old man to Josie and her friends - as well as to the people of Midvale.
