After a battle, the Rat Patrol heads for a well to regroup.
For my 13th Rat Patrol submission, I'm doing a Friday the 13th story. Note: This is not a horror story but a look at superstitions of various groups. Also I am not using 'Libya', since it didn't become a Kingdom until 1951. I am instead using the regions of Tripolitania, Fezzan and Cyrenaica. Finally, I just can't seem to write a story without our favorite German, Dietrich.
Planes, jeeps, halftracks, music, family, unexpected meetings and intrigue.
A lady is angry. The Rat Patrol, and one other, better look out.
Christmas in North Africa, 1942. No one saw this coming.
What happens after Major Bracken tells Dietrich not to leave without his plasma? It has definitely been a case of "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished" for both Moffitt and Dietrich. Now maybe things will settle down.
The Rat Patrol has a life or death decision to make. For those of you who read/speak German, I don't! So please forgive any goofs I may have made with my attempts, via google translate, to add a bit of authenticity. Enjoy!
