Sakura is raised by her sickly mother and her late father's clan. The clan wants her to become a lady and marry a noble, but her mother wants her to become a shinobi. In the end, Sakura will have to make a choice. But even as she makes her choice there is no guarantee that she will succeed. Kakashi is not prepared to deal with this. (Crossposted on AO3)
