It's been 18 months since Jane and Maura left Boston. Maura spent a year in Paris writing her book, which is now a bestseller. Jane spent a month with Maura in Paris before spending 17 months in DC, working for the FBI. Jane misses Boston homicide, but it takes just 3 words from Maura to bring her back for good. Told in present time, flashbacks, and excerpts from Maura's novel.
Criminal Minds! Focus is more on character development than BAU cases. People will fall in love with each other, but I'm taking it slow, starting with a strong JJ/Emily friendship. All season 3 main characters will be present. Rating may go up later, but for now it's equal to what you'd see on the show. Takes place after Miami in Season 3, when JJ's relationship with Will is outed.
Season 14 of Criminal Minds gave us a crazy little episode called "Truth or Dare", which Jemily shippers will remember well. A pause in a scene gave me so much hope and then the writers took it elsewhere. This is where I think the episode should have gone and what should have come afterward. This is obviously Jemily, not a slow burn, and a lot more fluff than angst. For once.
JJ is having nightmares about her sister's suicide and worries that it may be a warning. Everyone is dealing with something and JJ's worries are taking her over. This story was inspired by the song Self Conclusion by The Spill Canvas. It's a beautiful song. Includes all core characters and will eventually be JJ/Emily. Rated T for now, may change later.
Detective Jane Rizzoli and Dr. Maura Isles have been best friends for years, but both women know their feelings go beyond friendship. This is gonna be sweet and fluffy, exploring their feelings and the dynamic of their relationship. Light on angst, but it's Jane and Maura, so there may be a bit. Some chapters may be rated M, which I'll put in author's notes.
Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles make an excellent team, whether solving murders at work or just in their close friendship. This is just to pay homage to the wonderful relationship that is Rizzles, but there will also be drama :)
Emily Prentiss has just been suspended from the BAU and her best friend has temporarily replaced her as Unit Chief. This story takes place in season 13, immediately after the episode Cure, and will be a Jemily story, because what else is there?
