Snape remembering Lily... his love, his mistakes, his pain, and his promise. This is a prose style poem, not my usual style but I enjoy stretching my usual limits on occasion. Please note the syllabic pattern.

The four house animals are not getting along. What to do? Luckily, the Hogwarts winged boar always seems to have the answer. Just a silly little bit of fun that poked me relentlessly until I wrote it down. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. All reviews receive attentive and grateful replies :)

Written for a challenge. It's basically Harry's whole story in limerick form. A line or two aren't perfect but it was a fun challenge.

The thoughts that may have led Neville to the hero he eventually proved himself to be. Neville is JKR's unsung hero. This poem demanded to be written. It also needs to be pointed out that this was written with the "true" book scene in mind rather than the movie version. When Neville defied Voldemort he thought Harry dead. McGonagall finds Harry after the battle's end, at Dumbledore's tomb, where they share a moment of reflection.

Story set between OOTP and HBP, after Dumbledore's encounter with the cursed Horcrux ring. McGonagall is captured by Death Eaters and taken to Voldemort. Snape is forced to witness her suffering or risk his cover and his life to try to save her.
