Frog and Toad enjoy a nice day together when Toad realises he's eaten all the cookies. They bake more, and life decisions are made in the process.
After The Mark of the Firefly, Yamaguchi and the Nekarasi crew must work to keep the rest of Niihon safe from the devious plans of the Slithering Isles. As Yamaguchi and Tsukishima work tirelessly, half a continent away from each other, their feelings come into full bloom. Will they survive the oncoming war, or will they, once again, be torn apart by fate itself?
Nothing much of interest ever happens in Yamaguchi's little scrap town on the outskirts of the habitable continent. Just scavenging and sales. So, when his long-time friend, Kageyama, bursts through Yamaguchi's door in a panic brandishing a magnificent object branded with the Mark of the Firefly, a wealthy neighboring empire, he doesn't have much of a choice but to leave town.
Taxonomy: the genealogical classification and naming of species. Or; people keep assuming that Hawks and Tokoyami are related, and they bring it up at the most inopportune of times. What a foolish notion, to think the two share a bloodline, right Hawks? Right?
Tokoyami likes the holiday season, really he does. He likes it better now that he has family to spend the season with.
Suna Rintarou has always had an affinity for the wild places of his town; the forest and fields. No one else quite understood that, they thought him strange for it. But it didn't matter, for he knew the woods and the woods knew him well. He was at home there, in the forest, moreso than in any civilized area. The forest liked him, as well, well enough to show him secrets.
Convergent Evolution- convergent evolution is the independent evolution of similar features in two unrelated species. Or- a child accidentally blasts Tokoyami with an appearance-changing quirk, removing his mutant traits. Well, that's annoying. Wait... Why does he look so much like Hawks? Stop laughing, dammit!
It's moulting season, which means it's time to drop all those broken and bent feathers that have been stuck on Tokoyami's head since the last moult. Really sucks that it happens only twice a year because boy is it annoying having itchy broken feathers 24/7. How does Hawks keep his wings so nice all the time, surely some of his feathers break during battle?
Suna is a beautiful man and Osamu just can't cope. Watch as it takes him three whole years to pull himself together.
Paratrepsis, also called a distraction display or injury feigning, is an anti-predator behavior used by mostly birds. This behavior involves the parent, usually a mother, feigning an injury, usually wing-related, and luring the predator away from the nest/young before either fleeing or attacking. Or: Tokoyami gets caught off guard on what should be a standard patrol. Cue protective
There's something outside Monoma's window. It watches him sleep at night. It has killed for him. Monoma kind of likes the attention.
Hawks gets back from a long shift and realizes Tokoyami has been keeping up the whole time, with no breaks. The two exhausted heroes make a very late dinner and Hawks realizes he cares about Tokoyami. Oops, guess he's adopted a protege now. You don't need to read the first part of the series for this to make sense, but I would recommend it anyway!
Hawks is not prepared to receive Tokoymi for the upcoming work-study, he didn't even want the kid here in the first place! Aizawa doesn't think Hawks should even be in charge of a work-study, there's just no way that wreck can keep a high-schooler safe. They both worry for our favourite birb boy.
When he first saw him, Kei had almost taken the boy to be a deer spirit. The first time Tadashi saw his fae savior, all he could think of was the moon. Complete strangers from different worlds become the closest of friends, and with time maybe something more. Will they manage to stay at each other's sides, or will reality tear them apart?
Tsukishima and Yamaguchi find that everyone on the team thinks they're just best friends. Clearly, the best option is to push the PDA until someone figures them out.
