When a daughter of Dionysus takes Percy, Annabeth, and an entire mountainside of mortals and nature spirits hostage, Dionysus's only son Pollux must undertake a quest to save them. He recruits the only campers who are kind to him, Nico Di Angelo and Will Solace. Their journey takes them through gods, monsters, and worst of all: their own painfully interconnected pasts.
