Dr Smith was running. He was now running down the corridor of his son's primary school as fast as he could to get away from the recent interaction as quickly as possible. He felt terrible. Terrible for being so late. Terrible for how he treated his son's teacher, and terrible for lying to her. But that's what the doctor does. He lies.

"Your molecular memory can survive this, you know. It may not be the end." The Doctor then tossed the ganger the sonic screwdriver, to which 'Mr Smith' gave a small smile. "Yeah, well, if I turn up to nick all your biscuits, then you'll know you were right, won't you."
