(Sequel to BHC) A god is dead! The news comes as a shock to our heroes only to be followed up by the revelation that Rachel Dare has issued a new prophecy: one that could lead to the demise of the gods- all of them. It's a race against time itself to find the one responsible and stop them before the world literally becomes godless.
Leo had a job to do before they could go to Camp Jupiter. A big job. Unfortunately, building the Argo II from scratch wasn't as easy at the Son of Hephaestus made it sound. These are some of his logbook entries. (OR: A series of one-shots based around the building of the Argo II. Mostly featuring Leo and the other members of Cabin Nine.)
Thoma is not a fan of storms. He hates everything about them, from the roaring thunder to the bursts of lightning, the ceaseless rain and the howling gales. He hates it all: and with good reason. Ayaka is swamped with work, and barely notices when the rain begins to fall, but the storm takes a turn and she soon realizes that she's not the only one affected by this weather.
On the way back from a meeting at the Narukami Shrine, Ayaka and Thoma are ambushed by a group of Nobushi mercenaries. At first they think it's just opportunistic banditry, but when the leader says to taka Ayaka alive, they realize it's something more. Now they must fight their way out, and subsequently find another way home to the estate as their fortunes turn against them.
