An eldritch angel returns from the void. With the rules of their world rewritten and defied, a motley crew of allies and strangers must learn to cope with the reminders of a long-departed past and the conflict of the present. Not all is as they wish, but that need not be the end. After all, even the most surprising, terrifying moments have their ways of working out.
