Sixteen-year-old Evelyn Kline, a naive preacher's daughter, meets Elvis Presley at his first Louisiana Hayride show. Elvis is quick to claim her as his own, and she is suddenly sucked into the rollercoaster of sex, drugs, and Rock and Roll that is about to become his life.
