A poor boy from America (named Lucas), who's losing everything, finds out he's a wizard. But this year is the beginning of an exchange program between Hogwarts and Ilvermorny in which 1st years from each school switch places for their entire school career. And, as it so happens, he's in the same year as Harry Potter!
