A series of vignettes to help fill in the gaps. They will follow the current canon and will also flesh out Valentin and Anna's past as I imagine it. These scenes won't always be in chronological order.

She started to drive with no plan but soon found herself winding up an empty mountain road, the lights of the city growing faint as she climbed in elevation. Her mind was filled with deep memories until the road that brought her to a small mountain cabin. *Happy Birthday Sunshine! I hope you enjoy your birthday present!

Anna's sharp eyes ranged from sea to earth to heaven. She investigated everything, her mind asking innumerable questions of her surroundings. Once she determined the scene was safe she thought of her next move. Now if only she could get this surly Australian to relinquish some control and agree to her plan.
