At the end of Iron Man 3 Tony thinks everything is going fine. That is until he figures out that his best friend, Bruce, just got injected with Extremis.

Sequel to You Make Me Brave. It's been a few weeks since the plane crash and now it's Christmas and Natasha still can't take Bruce being gone. Clint comforts her through it but then someone shows up and they change everything.

Clint was taken by Hydra and Bruce blames himself and thinks that Clint won't love him anymore. Tony comforts him through it but Bruce still thinks Clint doesn't want him. But then when Clint gets home he makes sure that Bruce knows he's loved.

Clint leaves for a dangerous mission and Bruce is afraid he'll loose him. He gets depressed when Clint doesn't come back for days, but then when he does he comforts Bruce and promises him that he will never leave him again, and he intends to keep that promise.
