However, when Leander doesn't return from a hunting trip, they start to regret ever coming... Basically Leander gets tortured by Morgarath while the others try to find him. It can't be easy to be a mentor of a young, far too enthusiastic, and curious boy. These are some one-shots of Halt being more like a dad than a mentor (explaining all the grey hairs he's gotton along the way).

As promised, my rewritten version of RA book 4 (and beyond). When Will and Halt reunite, it seems that the events from the slaveyard is still haunting the young ranger. Piece by piece, Halt discovers how much really happened and searches for a way to help Will overcome his addiction and trauma.

It's the end of the war. Harry is jumpy. Hermione is an emotional wreck. Ron had tragically died before the war ended and the war has left it's toll on Hogwarts. Meanwhile, Rangers Halt and Will have spotted some boar tracks and something else... An accident leaves Harry and Hermione in a totally different world than they're familiar with - one with Kings, and Kings Rangers.

Will, Halt, Horace, and Alyss don't have much time. Horace goes to the land of Nihon-Ja, learns that the Emperor has been overthrown, and he is caught into a war that he can't interfere in. Arya's spell was modified at the last second to summon help to return the Riders to Alagaesia. It happened to coincide with a reunion between the five wardmates in Araluen - Will, Horace, Alyss, Jenny, and George, a year after Nihon Ja. Will any of them become Riders?
