This is my version of what happened to Jess after Leslie had died years ago. He is a senior in High School preparing to graduate but he cannot let go of her and he continues to blame himself for her death.

Years after Leslie's death, Jess slowly goes insane. He wants nothing more than to find a new Leslie; a new Queen of Terabithia. He looks for suitors between the ages of ten and fourteen and drowns the girls in the river when they do not meet his standards. Seemingly out of luck, he finds a young girl named Colinaphen who he decides is worthy and kidnaps her.
On a hiatus whilst doing my PhD, so this is a one-off, spontaneous piece. Thanks for your understanding! Leslie's perspective, then the two families' perspectives, from just before her final swing to Jesse walking into the living room. No happy ending, and it's extermely sad, graphic and detailed.
