In the Dream Ghost song in "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" it's shown/told that a guy is deciding whether or not to leave his wife, somebody else is wondering if she should terminate her pregnancy, a woman is dreaming in Portuguese, and a man is agonizing over whether to buy or lease a new Porsche. This is those people's stories and what they decide. Not meant to contradict canon.
To Rebecca's dismay, Nathaniel seems to be moving on without her; she snoops to find out what is going on. Salient characters: Nathaniel, Trent, George, Rebecca. Technically polyamorous. Some similar characterisation and themes to another fic (One West Covina) but plotwise a fairly separate animal.
