She's waited for a thousand years to see him again, but it takes a threat to New York to bring them together. Threats are coming from all sides, including those who should be allies. Will love conquer all, or will they lose each other again?
{Sequel to Queensbridge Park} The ongoing adventures of Reese, Elena, Shaw, and Bear. AKA: Fluff, snark, and drama in the Riley household. Harold has a conversation with the machine post if-then-else
John Reese has always had a hidden dream, and when a certain number brings that dream to the surface, he begins to want it even more. There is only one person he wants to share this dream with, and that's Detective Joss Carter, but he realizes very quickly that some dreams can never come true...or can they?
For 31 Sundays, I'll be posting a drabble here in this initial collection - some will be as is, while others have been revised, expanded and/or updated with notes regarding what inspired them, etc. To kick things off, here's a new drabble, inspired by an e-card.
P2 is the continuation of the series that started with Saving the Saviors, followed by Pointillist. In this third book, we join our Team just after the shoot-out. Greer's Team is gone, and Harold's Team is hurting. After some much needed time to recover, events take them out of Manhattan, to chase Greer wherever he tries to hide.
Reese observes his beautiful and complex companion and wonders, who is he talking to in each moment...Root or Samantha? The first of several one-shots in a non-canon Person Of Interest story in which Reese and Root are the only two left in the war against Samaritan, and develop a deep connection in their remaining time left.
It was remarkable - Harold thought, a while later, even as Sameen bent one of the man's fingers further, and held it there - how much John had come to mean to him. [Warning: Mild torture, and References to Character Death]
When Brandi Finch's mother dies she goes to live with her Uncle Harold Finch. This is a reboot of "The Lost Child" where she lives with Finch from the pilot to now. Rating will stay the same on account of violence.
Joss Carter was on top of the world with a great job, a great son, and a new man in her life until it all came crashing down in an instant. John Warren had started a new life with a wonderful woman...and a new name until a mysterious stranger turns his world upside down. A/U
Troisième OS écrit dans le cadre d'un défi
Elena Cassidy is in the park one day, playing with her dog and minding her own business, when a couple walks up and looses their dog on her. And that's just the first of many encounters she has with John, Harold, and Bear. Reese/OC slow burn. Updates every Sunday.
She blinks and squints adjusting to the sudden light, and has to blink again - because Harold is standing at the other end. [AU of 3x21 'Beta', POV Grace Hendricks]
As a vigilant, he's learned the value of having a cop as an asset. As a cop working with a vigilant, she's learned the gray areas of the law. But neither cop or vigilant can figure out how to solve 'whatever it is' that's between them.
Deuxième OS écrit dans le cadre d'un défi
OS écrit dans le cadre d'un défi, redécouvert en rangeant un peu, c'est bien que ces trois histoires rejoignent les autres de la même autrice : )
Joss Carter had been through a lot in her young life, but she came through smarter and stronger. A new product she's developed, however, has put her life in danger. John Reese received a beautiful new number, but the threat to Joss Carter may not be all there is. The Tapestry of their lives has been woven in time, but will it fray in the face of danger, or grow stronger. A/U
Joss Carter was tired of being alone, and also of boring blind dates cooked up by her family or friends. Joss was looking for someone who would love her for who she was, not who they wanted her to be. John Reese had always found Joss devastatingly beautiful, and now he had to find a way to get close to her...to protect her. His idea might work, but it could also destroy him... A/U
Joss Carter has a lot on her mind after returning home from Bishop, TX where she went to help John Reese find their friend Harold Finch after he was taken. But she's not the only one with things on her mind. She gets a surprise visit from John who reveals how deeply Layla's kidnapping effected him, and how the thought of losing Joss actually played a part in why he called Elias.
Samaritan examines Shaw
Tome quinze de la série commencée avec "Otage"
The New Numbers that the machine has given to Finch, John, Shaw, and Root belong to the kids of an orphanage and their caregiver. Who is a danger to them? And why? P.s. I own nothing
John Reese doesn't particularly believe in honesty. Lies of omission aren't lies, they're just omissions. Lies can be white. Assumptions don't always have to be corrected. Honesty is important, but it doesn't have to be absolute. And, finally, knowing about someone isn't the same thing as knowing someone. All the things, important or not, that John never said.
Shaw has stopped working for the Machine, but finds herself lured back in by Detective Fusco. She doesn't know where it will lead, but on the way she gets to deal with the drama she'd hope to leave in the past.
The Machine makes a friend. [POV: The Machine. Set in S2e02: The Contingency]
Everyone lives. No one (except Samaritan and all its truly evil associates) dies. And Root and Shaw will have a LOT of kissing to catch up on.
POI & Daemons Admitting this now. This is a mess and I don't really know why I wrote this but here you go for anyone who wants to read it.
When Evelyn decides that five years of square-dancing with John is enough, she reveals her plans for her daughter Joss's future in the place she feels safest in the world; Summerville, South Carolina. Rated T for adult humor and sexuality. Probably contains shade-throwing.
AU - No Machine - No Numbers - No Finch & Reese A little ficlet I imagined of Shaw and Root if they met when Shaw was still an intern Control is everything to Shaw. If she can't fit into the world, then she will control it, mold her life and every situation to fit her needs. Only, Root isn't so moldable. And she likes to be in control, too.
