Druig and Makkari reunite during those 500 years which the Eternal spent split up. These are just glimpses into their life in the Amazon during the days leading up to the movie and some scenes during and after it. Not much plot in here; they're just in love.

Humans know the myth of Hades and Persephone. What they know differs from what really happened. But the truth is not far from what they see. The love the humans describe, the love two Eternals share, retains every bit of its essence immortalized in the myth as the fable of true love itself. Or, how Druig and Makkari come to be immortalized as Hades and Persephone.

Eternals are going missing. This isn't entirely strange as Ikaris did once disappear for five hundred years, but they're not just "missing" in the sense that they can't be found. They're disappearing. Taken. Stolen. Gone. And it may just have a little something to do with an ugly purple titan that Ikaris warned Gilgamesh of four hundred years ago.

Makkari feels Druig before she sees him. Every creature, Eternal included, vibrates on a different frequency. Thena's steps are quick and silent. Gilgamesh thundered with the grace of a herd of elephants. Kingo doesn't know when to stop humming, singing, bouncing to the music in his head. Ikaris never quite learned how to touch the ground. Makkari would know Druig anywhere.

"How do we tell the others?" he asks when they get back. Makkari pauses in consideration, coming to the same conclusion he is. She doesn't look like she wants to be the one to tell them either. 'How about a bet' she proposes playfully. "A bet?" he smiles back. "I'm listening." Or, Druig and Makkari get married and wait for the rest of their oblivious family to figure it out.
