Lucy told Ernie a beautiful story about the first time she met Kate, but what about Kate's point of view? What happened during her meeting, what was her life in DC like and why does Tennant ship Kacy so hard? Kacy all the way with a touch of Tensler friendship thrown in, follows canon with a wee bit of creative history bending thrown in.
This is my version of what I believe should've happened at the end of S1E14, Broken, with Kate and Lucy a.k.a. Kacy.
Kate and Lucy see each other in the NCIS bullpen. Aside from surprise, there are some other things that both NCIS agent and DIA officer share. Kate and Lucy have a bit different path than they had in the show.
Set at the end of the Season 1 finale. Just a short one shot that popped into my head.
Starlight 88 and NorthwesternTheta have no clue who each other is in real life or even if they want to move beyond their online connection. Meanwhile, the Maggie Shaw case and aftermath created problems for more than just Tennant. After weeks of being apart, can Lucy and Kate work their way back to each other or has it all just gotten too complicated professionally?
Jane gets really shook up when a cat that she's looking after dies unexpected. 'For BTH Bingo'
Jesse resorts to a low point to get Kai to do something for him. 'For BTH Bingo'
Part 1 of 2. Extended / Alternate ending to NCIS Hawai'i S01 EP22 Ohana with Kate Whistler and Lucy Tara. What happened after the party at Tennant's home. Inspired by the lyrics of 'Make You Feel My Love'.
Part 2 of 2. What happened after the party at Tennant's home. Extended / Alternate ending to NCIS Hawai'i S01 EP22 Ohana with Kate Whistler and Lucy Tara. Part 1 is here: /s/14089950/1/A-Million-Years
Jane invites some of her NCIS friends to look for pearls. '3 way NCIS crossover'
Sequel to All Comes Crashing. Kate has officially moved back to Hawai'i, along with her team, but what happens when something from her past is brought back to interfere with her present? Kacy fluff with some drama, action, and Tenstler Friendship Goals for good measure.
A different take on what happened in 1x7. What if Agent Pike wasn't able to sneak up on Eddie Foreman? Lucy has to take care of it on her own. Even if it means taking on her deathly fear of water.
Joe gets forced to watch something very disturbing. 'Day 11 of Summer of Whump 2022'
Hetty and Joe sit up with Jane. 'Day 8 of Summer of Whump 2022'
Kate has two days and two nights in Hawaii before she has to go back to DC. Her plan had been to enjoy the beach all day and become better at surfing. And then she meets this sexy brunette in a bar and everything changes.
While on a car ride, Jane and Joe discuss wedding plans.
Kate Whistler has been a lot of things in the past few months in Hawai'i. She's been wrong. She's been off her game. She's been sorry. She's even been the kicked puppy who has taken an emotional and physical beating. The question is, who will she become when it all comes crashing down? A bit of angst with Kacy Endgame and a happy ending, and a side of Tenstler Friendship Goals.
No matter how hard Kate tries to talk to Lucy, nothing works. Maybe it's time to really move on, to give herself the opportunity to get over the break-up by putting some distance between them. But no matter what she does, there's always a time when the FBI and NCIS have to work together. Post E20&21 Translation from my original story in french : "6 mois"
I don't know about you, but I was a little frustrated at the end of episode 20. First of all, because: Who starts this kind of conversation with someone who comes out of the hospital with even a slight head injury? No one does. Secondly, who lets someone say "I loved you" and then leave without a word? No one does. So, since no one does that, I propose a new version.
S01EP20 Alternate Ending to NCIS: Hawai'i Nightwatch with Kate Whistler and Lucy Tara.
Set sometime between 1x11 but before the hug and apology in 1x17. Kate is out enjoying her day off and gets pulled into an undercover mission Lucy is working on. To their mutual discomfort, they have to pretend to be a couple - FOR THE MISSION. That's right, y'all. It's a fake dating AU.
Kate Whistler's past life and secrets come back to haunt her and her worlds collide in all the ways she's tried to avoid. If they can overcome the day, can she and Lucy overcome their obstacles? Kacy goodness with sprinkles of Tenstler friendship goals for good measure.
"Lucy finds out that Whistler turned down a promotion in D.C." They had to know that would be a fanfic prompt for everyone, right? Here is my take on what could happen in 1x20, even though I know it will be completely wrong. Kacy Reconciliation!
Kate has been trying to propose to Lucy and finally finds the way to do it. AKA Two times Kate tries to propose to Lucy...and the one time she actually does. Kacy Fluffy Goodness with a side of Tenstler Friendship Goals.
Sequel to How Not to Drown: Noah has come to visit and reconnect with his sister after years apart. Kacy fluff, Tenstler friendship goals, even more fluffy, and a bit of drama sprinkled in.
Since their break-up, Kate and Lucy's relationship has been strained. Perhaps a little outside help and a tricky investigation will help them figure things out. After S1E11, before S1E17
