Four Drink Harry was going to turn into Hungover Harry in the morning if she wasn't careful, and Hungover Harry spelled all kinds of trouble for him. A one-shot idea that came to me yesterday, not related to Care and Need.

It's Christmas and Harry doesn't want Dempsey to spend the festive season alone and invites him to be her plus one at Winfield Hall. The evening doesn't quite as she planned!
"I don't think you could handle me." She challenges. Chapter 1 set series 1/2ish and Chapter 2 after The Burning and before Jericho Scam. Chapter 2 and NEW chapter 3 are pushing the ratings. Hope you're all safe and well.
Another one from the archives which I've dragged out and added the final bit. Dempsey tackles a bomb and this time it doesn't go his way and Harry finds it difficult to cope with visit to Intensive Care.
She's resigned. She's gone! Doesn't she know how much he needs her? How the only reason he hasn't done something extremely stupid before now is because he had her to come back to? Dempsey has to persuade her come back to the police, to him. But how?
What if Spikings pulled Harry out of her undercover role the day before Dempsey arrived? What if she was annoyed about it and needed to blow off some steam? Yeah, my brain took that here...

Dempsey had changed since Simone had been in town and Harry was wondering what was happening. But Dempsey has a surprise in store for her. How will she react when she finds out?
Harriet has been sent on an undercover operation and Dempsey is about to put an end to the operation with the rest of the SI-10 team. 6 weeks without his partner, 6 weeks of not being able to protect her, 6 weeks of unanswered questions. What does the future hold for the partners?
"He has no photo on his desk. There's never a mention of his wife and sometimes Harry wonders if the wedding ring is there because he forgot to take it off." (Trust me on this one...!)
Harry gets sick of Dempsey's girls turning up to take him off when he's in the pub with her and her well of hard fought for patience runs out.
When I'm meant to be filling in applications to get me out of my current job hell, am I doing that or am I writing D&M fluff? Well... This one is set just after The Cortez Connection, Harry has herself a little bit grumpy over Simone. Hope everyone is okay in this rotten weather :/

"What happens when you're dead, not dead?" Harry asks sleepily over the dregs of a glass of wine. She picks at the last of the food from the local Chinese takeaway and debates the wisdom of her thoughts. "I've never had an undead partner before."

So, it's somehow December already! Which means it's probably time for a little pre-Christmas/sort of Christmas story, right? Couple of chapters for this one, so here's the first. I hope everyone is doing okay :)
AU (alternative universe) story. Dempsey wants to settle down; Lady Harriet is under threat from her family and Chas tries to keep the peace. Chapter 12 and 13 now added, the night of the party has arrived with unexpected guests, nobody predicts the culprit and there's a few confessions.
Spring 1988 and Harry is pregnant with an unplanned baby. How will this impact upon their marriage, barely three months in existence?
