"Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars." - Khalil Gibran. Two new students have arrived at Hogwarts. One is cold and fearsome, the other charismatic but broken. Rumor has it they were once marooned on an island. What happened to them? . . . Are you sure you want to know? Boggart fic. DARK fic. Warning: strong T.
Well, I needed some closure to the book, and I think so did everyone else. I couldn't find anything about the twins being alive or dead, so I used what I thought, which was that they are both dead.
"Every single day, I am reminded of my mistakes. They haunt me, when I'm asleep, when I'm awake. What ever I do, I constantly associate my surroundings with that island. I can't-" she was broken off by loud sobs wracking her body. His arms wrapped around her small frame and together, they sat there, two broken souls fighting to regain sanity. "I just can't do anything but regret."
Fifteen years after the events in LOTF, the boys - now men - are summoned back to the island after a body washes up on the beach of a Costa Rican beach. Will they all return or not? Old ghosts re-surface and new problems arise! And was the Beast really just in their minds? Read and review please!
Roger has grown up and is now responsible for caring for his son - his son that has autism. Feeling alone, scared, and alienated, he needs help finding care for both himself and his little Jonah. They only have each other.
Lilian and her two younger brothers are on the same airplane as the boy school. Roger has a crazy obssession with her and the other boys react like boys do if they want something. And soon she will get caught in a dangerous loveless game for her body. Warning: might get dark
He ran to the shore, tripping over the salty blue waves as the sun pierced the horizon. And maybe he did throw up, right there in the water, but he didn't care if anyone knew, and when he'd heard the howls of the others, the slicing of flesh, he ducked under water for long intervals, sometimes breaching the surface already gasping for breath before diving under again.
A group of schoolgirls crash on a deserted island. Savagery versus Civilization. Based on Lord of the Flies.
He'd like to pretend Roger corrupted him. Truthfully, it's no one's fault but his own. RogerMaurice.
Ralph deals with the aftermath of his personal war on the island.
Roger locks himself away, and Jack needs to know why.
This is my take on what happened after the island in Lord of the Flies. It was originally written for a school project and any criticisms are appreciated. ONE SHOT. (Sorry, I suck at titles!)
"There's nothing to hold onto, and no way to let go." Simon survived the attack on the island, but has been comatose and in terrible pain ever since. Everyone thinks he can't hear them, but they're wrong.
Ralph deals with his part in the chaos and the process of returning to civilization. Will what he learned on the island destroy him? How does one come back from such a traumatic experience?
What happened after the boys left the island? This continues Ralph's story. Lord of the Flies belongs to William Golding, I own nothing but the idea. I'm sorry if it's not great this is my first time writing a story. Please be honest with your reviews so that the next time I write a story I know how to make it better. Thank you :)
Ralph was scarred for life. The memories wouldn't go away no matter how hard he tried to forget them.
Roger is taken away from the island. Roger is taken away from the other boys. All by himself in a clean white room, he sits; not knowing how to control, express, or identify his emotions. He needs the new people in his life to help him - and it isn't going to be easy.
A poem I wrote for English class. My really close friend suggested that I post it on here, and so I decided to take her advice. Rated T for themes.
One-shot. How Ralph's life might have turned out after the island. Rated T for themes, and I'm kind of paranoid.
"I never thought you could stoop so low! And now because of you, I may have just lost the only person I actually care about!" [ Rated T for rape, suicide attempt(s), foul language and violence. May change to M later. ]
Roger hates his brother, and now that he's going home he thinks that maybe he will not have to quietly deal with it anymore. Because Roger is a hunter. (Short Drabble about Roger.)
I got a request from a Guest named Lucas to write this one. I hope you enjoy this if you read it. A one-shot about how Roger came to find out that he liked inflicting pain...before he got to the island.
Upon being captured, Ralph is made a plaything for Jack Merridew's pleasure. When Jack realises he wants Ralph in ways that are more than physical, could their relationship be salvaged? (Rating to change in the next few chapters.)
