This is my submission for the CFPromoter's Castle Halloween Bash. Picks up from the morgue scene in Undead Again and goes AU from there. I am borrowing extensively from one of my favorite shlocky awful Zombie movie ever: The Omega Man (1971) With apologies to Richard Matheson who wrote the original novel "I Am Legend" in 1954.
Kate is a wild phase teenager. She was only looking for some fun. Find herself. She wasn't tying to be rebellious with her parents, she actually loved her parents, especially her mother. However her latest choice took her down the wrong road, and she didn't see any off ramps in the distance. Rick is dealing with his own problems on the other side of the country. Everything changes.
Castle Ficathon '14 entry. Cover Art by @dtrekker :) Sent on a mysterious quest, I land in an alternate reality where I have to juggle saving the universe, interfering with Castle and Beckett's lives, foiling conspiracies and not blowing my cover. A little on the crackfic side. Allegedly the VERY FIRST Castle Self Insertion on FFnet! NOW COMPLETE! Both bonus chapters online!
A/U From a Tumblr prompt: Castle and Beckett are super heroes, whose alter-egos fall in love, not knowing they are also each other's nemesis.
Rick believes in all sorts of things that Kate doesn't. However, they find that extraterrestrials believe in them. And do they ever! The case is over and COMPLETE!
Kate doesn't know anyone around here. Anyone at all. And she has been living alone for a long time. But her dreams are about to become reality. And she isn't the only one. Please note the Sci-fi tag. It's not much this time, but there is a little and maybe more later. - Complete.
When Dr. Selvig is found dead, the NYPD must deal with a certain group of superheroes helping with the investigation.
When asked "What would happen if Castle and Reynolds met?" Nathan said, "Mal would shoot him in the face." I respectfully disagree, and speaking of respectful disagreement, both shows are great. NO h8, ok? Marlowe & ABC own Castle. Whedon and Fox own Firefly. But, as Joss pointed out, the story's still happening. I love him for that. Note: happy to get constructive criticism.
Detective Kate Beckett is through with Richard Castle, playboy millionaire. After he looks into her mothers case she wants nothing to do with him. But when she sees him in a coffee shop the next day, not everything is how it appears. How often does your former would-be partner look like he's aged 5 years in a day? (Heads up, Time Travel Fanfic.) Uhh, I don't own these characters.
One-shot.
Firefly/Castle OneShot. Castle reluctantly goes trick-or-treating with Alexis while working a case, and needs an outfit.
Set the day after the end of "Time Will Tell". Castle is home, writing, and Beckett is at the Precinct doing paperwork, at least until she gets a surprise visit by our favorite witch.
Ever since Kate had found out about the dire wolves, she'd wondered why she hadn't freaked out as much as she'd expected. She'd been surprised, and yeah, she could admit to being scared when faced with a furious wolf, snarling and snapping at everyone within range. But once she'd understood what was really going on, she'd changed her tune. A Werewolf AU. Sort of.
Castle and Beckett discover a bizarre death in their town is connected to some bizarre stuff in Chicago and aliens from outer space.
Castle and Beckett discuss their upcoming marriage - with Castle's imagination running away with him. But for Castle and Beckett, traveling to outer space to get married isn't that much of a stretch, not when they're friends with the Doctor. The question isn't whether they CAN get married in space, but whether they SHOULD. One-shot, continuation of "A Murder Takes Manhattan" and "T
