An overworked Commander decides to keep a personal log detailing his thoughts, occurences in the base and other random rantings and musings. Has a bit of comedy sprinkled in, not sure if I'll add romance or any serious drama but it's a consideration. Set in an (probably?) alternate continuity, mostly because a lot of stuff in the actual lore is still rather hazy and unexplained.
