No borrower wanted to risk being caught by a human. Who knew what they'd do to you if they found you? As close to them as they had to get to borrow what they needed, they always ensured they'd never be seen. So of course Jean had to fuck it up. Still, maybe it wouldn't be as bad as he expected. This Armin guy did seem pretty nice, after all.

Shiro's life was already difficult enough. He was going to inherit a throne of his tattered home country and had expectations placed on him that he did not ask for. The last thing he needed was his aunt announcing that he would need to go on a trip to the country he hated the most and meet the family responsible for all of his troubles. He would go along and hope it's over soon.
