When Gilderoy graduates, he expects that people will be falling over themselves to have him. Instead, he's been to interview after interview, and no one seems to recognise his potential. No one except a mysterious older woman in a bar, her green eyes sharp and full of wisdom.
"Fighting it is." She gave Lily a questioning smile. "Are you sure you're up for it? You look exhausted." Lily took one last deep breath. "I'm just a bit unsteady." She assured as her body stopped shaking. "Unsteady but strong."
Visiting Gilderoy in St. Mungo's proves to be a heartbreaking experience.
