"Tython changed something in him. It's as if something awakened, something otherworldly." Din Djarin firmly intends to ignore the way his instincts are faster and clearer than they ever were before. But now that he has Imperial remnants on his tail, who are again determined to take Grogu from him, that may not be a choice.
Grogu wins the Darksaber fair and square.
This story is heavily based on the Disneyplus show "The Mandalorian" but I have added my OC character (Mando's daughter) into the mix so as to show the reasons behind Mando's actions and decisions as a character. I do not own these characters or majority of the dialogue or story. Season 1 and 2 are complete! Would love to hear feedback.
"...I was hiding on Sorgan. If I wanted a slow life I wouldn't have followed you out to that village. Djarin, could you knock it off with this whole routine? I'm here because I want to be." Din struggles with with his grief over Grogu. Cara's patience for his coping mechanisms is reaching its limits.
Mandalorians and thorough knowledge of their courting mores are equally scarce in the galaxy these days. Naturally, there are consequences.
Once again, the Mandalorian has found himself in a difficult situation involving the Child. What could the put upon Bounty Hunter have found himself in this time? Will he manage to get out of this one? And will his little buddy be alright by the end?
After a rescue from a harrowing experience, Din and Cara find themselves recovering in the lap of luxury. They may be safe from those that would do them harm, but are they safe from each other?
This is my version of what happens after the last episode of Season 2 and before the Book of Boba Fett. Disclaimer: I don't own the Mandalorian - he belongs to Lucasfilm. I've returned to fan fiction after a long break, and this is my first ever fic in the Star Wars universe. Reviews will be very gratefully received.
After Morak, Din is vulnerable, and Cara takes advantage—in only the most wholesome of ways.
The kid isn't the only one on the Razor Crest who needs a nap. Some fluff, some humor, and a lot of sighing.
A lone Mandalorian bounty hunter does his best to preserve his people and his honor, but acquiring a child makes his place in the universe all the more precarious.
When things go sideways on a job, Din's life is at risk. He will need the help of his son and friend to get back on his feet. (Basically an attempt at an angst fic.)
The Galaxy is huge, unknown, chaotic and full of horror. Yet, as she sits into a ship's hold, Olida Robilant feels she can sum it up with little more than her senses: the smooth, warm skin of the alien baby sleeping against her chest, the sound of breathing through the vocoder of a helmet, the memory of a smile as bright as the streaks of starlight she sees reflecting on the hull.
Of course Din fell like a rock for the amazing Ahsoka Tano. Who wouldn't? But two years will pass before he'll see her again, so he keeps himself occupied with rebuilding Mandalore and pretending that he doesn't miss his son like crazy too. DinSoka. Lukara, Sabezra, HanLeia, Codex, Bobafennec, Carawolffe. DadMando! (Life Day is a cross between Xmas and New Years) Soooo Fluffy!
Takes place right after the season 2 finale. It's about the aftermath of what Mando does without Grogu anymore and how he deals with his emotions... It's basically about a father that misses his kid and what he does without him. Just finished a new chapter! (Please feel free to give constructive criticism) Chapter 3 is up now :)
When a job goes horribly wrong and Cara's past comes back to haunt her, Din takes her to the covert as a last-ditch effort to save her life. Will the Mandalorian's accept Cara, and Din's attachment to her? How will they navigate the complicated task of untangling the past and moving into the future? Pre relationship moving into relationship.
A tale of found family, love, and adventure, set after the events of Season 1. Also includes The Armorer, Paz Vizsla, Greef Karga and a number of Mandalorian OCs-as well as others from a galaxy far, far away (specifically from Rebels and The Clone Wars-but a few others, too?)
