Missing Scene to E15:20. Sam calls Walt for help after Dean dies.
The whole thing wrapped up pretty damn well. The poltergeist was dead; Gary was back in his gluten-free-apple-pie life; the Impala was parked outside a motel; and, overall, they hadn't sustained any major injuries. Then the only thing to deal with was chick-flick-moment chicken (practically rigged against Dean, if he were honest). Oh, well, you can't win them all.
Sam has not had contact with his family in seven years until his brother shows up unexpectedly with unsettling news. This is a one shot and 'what if' story that came to mind. What if Dean never came to Stanford to get Sam? Grief, Heartache, Family
You've brought him home. Now how do you take care of him? WARNING: Contains weight gain, stuffing, force-feeding, non/dub-con, implied Wincest, immobility, and a monster POV
After killing the demon that murdered his wife and attempting to make peace with his daughter Samantha, John ultimately decides she would be safer if he kept his distance. Years after making his decision, John's son-in-law knocks on his door with devastating news that could do more damage than the demon ever did.
Every day used to feel endless and infinite, now it feels stilted and transient. Human AU, POV Dean, Warning for implied MCD.
Dean has disappeared to Purgatory, leaving Sam drowning without purpose and lost in grief. Until a woman turns up claiming she has something for Dean, something small and fragile, something with familiar green eyes named Hope.
Sam put his hands up slightly, trying to diffuse some of the tension. "It's him. I've run him through every test we know how to do." "No, Sam. It's just Lucifer." Dean closed his eyes. "It's just a dream." Sam's face scrunched. "No Dean, it's not." "It always is." (An alternate finale fix-it.)
Tag/Missing Scenes for 2X01 IMTOD and 2X02 ELAC. Suck it up. Dean reminds himself that he's felt much worse, recently. Just sixty hours ago, he was down for the count, his life leaking out of him to stain the floorboards of that cabin.

Sam wins. Although the price may be steep, he will do anything to keep Dean safe, even if that means keeping his brother locked up. All Dean wants is to wrench Sam back from the irrevocable darkness threatening to obliterate his soul. Or the one in which Sam is the sole survivor in When Hell Breaks Loose (S2E21) and becomes the Boy King of Hell, hence inciting the apocalypse.
Dean grew up in a loving family with his baby brother Sam and their big brother Eloise, their mom and their dad. And then one day, it happened, Mary was suddenly gone, and John just could not bear not having anybody to blame for his pain. So he blames the most convenient.
Even at Adam's age, Sam was already thinking about college—talking to guidance counselors and sneaking off to the library after school, taking notes on the universities he researched in spiral notebooks he thought John didn't notice. John noticed. John always notices. It's just—easier sometimes to act like he doesn't.
This is an alternate version of the beginning of season 8 where Sam goes to Purgatory to rescue Dean and ends up getting hurt in the process. Please let me know if you like it. Reviews and constructive criticism are both welcomed and encouraged.
