So many novels end with the promise of marriage, and so few describe what happens after. I've often wondered about this particular wedding night, but frankly, Mr Darcy has changed so much by giving him some human feelings, I cannot imagine him, or Elizabeth, fumbling secretly in the dark anymore. Their first efforts must be heart-warming, their married life as well. Purists beware!
