Inspired by a martial arts dance group at a little girl's seventh birthday party, Miguel, Sam, Eli, and Robby take karate to the next level and form their own pop karate dance group. However, when tragedy strikes, Miguel decides to walk away, until he realizes that his talent has the power to bring hope back to one little girl who loses her ability to communicate.
